Recap: The Successful Moyobet Tournament at Mathare Drive Inn Primary School

 

From October 19th to 21st, the Mathare Drive Inn Primary School hosted the exciting Moyobet Tournament, an event dedicated to promoting youth participation in sports while benefiting good causes in the community. The tournament brought together twenty teams’ competitive teams, featuring remarkable four girl’s teams and sixteen boys, all-eager to showcase their talent on the field. The atmosphere was vibrant as participants displayed their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the three-day event.

The tournament culminated in a thrilling finale, where awards were presented to the top-performing teams. The Mathare Queens emerged victorious in the girls' category, proudly taking home the championship trophy along with cash prizes and medals. Following closely were the Kariobangi Sharks, who secured second place and added to their achievements with cash awards and medals. In the boys' category, the Mathare Flames claimed the top position, reinforcing their status as a formidable team. Mathare North in second place, Githurai All Stars followed them in third and Kayole Masters in fourth. Each team-received recognition for their hard work and dedication, with medals and cash prizes awarded to celebrate their performances.
